It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues.

Join us at The DeVilbiss Room in the heart of Downtown Winters for cocktails, bar bites & place to gather with new & old friends.
Many guests ask where the name DeVilbiss comes from…
The Buckhorn Steakhouse proudly occupies a historical landmark: the former DeVilbiss Hotel, which was built in 1889 by prominent Winters rancher John A. DeVilbiss.
Twenty-some years later, after the repeal of the Prohibition Amendment, DeVilbiss’s son-in-law Joe “Boggs” Griffin reacquired the building and opened a bar. He and his son ran the bar for another nearly 20 years.
In 1980 John Pickerel acquired the Buckhorn business, and in 1991 his wife Melanie Bajakian began refurbishing the restaurant and brought back its original charm and décor. In early 2022, John & Melanie’s daughter, Emarie VanGalio, began re-designing what once was our DeVilbiss Private Dining Room into The DeVilbiss Room, now a sophisticated, warm and inviting bar & lounge available for guests to enjoy. We invite you to join us Thursday-Sunday for drinks, food & conversations with friends.
The DeVilbiss Room does not require reservations. All tables are first come first serve. The DeVilbiss Room is available for private events, photo shoots & corporate retreats.
